Danny Harrel

Danny Harrell, LCAS

Danny Harrell is the owner of Drug & Alcohol Assessment Services and is a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist and a Certified Prime for Life Instructor providing Alcohol & Drug Education Traffic School. Danny began working in the Substance Use Field on February 9th of 1982 with over 42 plus years of experience.


Patti Cain

Patti Cain, MSW, LCAS, LCSW

Patti Cain is a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 14 years of experience in the field. She is a certified Prime for Life Instructor providing the Alcohol & Drug Education Traffic School. Patti graduated from UNCW with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and graduated with a Masters of Social Work in December of 2017.


Lauren Michaelson

Lauren Michaelson, CADC

Lauren Michaelson is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor with over 10 years of experience working in the Substance Use field. Lauren graduated from the UCLA Extension Drug and Alcohol program in 2015 and earned her credentials in 2016. Lauren has been with D&A Assessment Services since 2023.


Darci Braxton

Darci Braxton, CADC-R

Darci Braxton is Registered Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor with 8 years of experience in the Substance Use Field. Darci has been an intern with D&A Assessment Services while graduating from East Carolina University in 2016. Darci is currently pursuing a Licensed Clinical Social Work along with Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.


Michelle Smith

Michelle Smith, CADC-I

Michelle Smith is a Registered Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Michelle began part-time with D&A as a group facilitator and loved the practice so much came aboard as an Intake Counselor. Michelle will begin graduate school in the Fall where she will focus on Clinical Mental Health.
